Cancellation and No Show Policy

Important: Please make every effort to schedule your appointment for a day and time that will work for you. You will need to provide a phone number with an answering device or voicemail because we will attempt to confirm your upcoming appointment. When we call you, it’s important that you get back to us so we can confirm your appointment. Our phone lines are answered 24 hours a day and all voicemail messages are time-stamped. If we don’t hear back from you, we reserve the right to give your time slot to another client who needs the appointment.

Cancellation: Whether we’re able to reach you by phone or not, we expect you to show up for your appointments or to cancel with adequate notice. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we require a full 24-hour notice by phone for weekday appointments (48 hours for Saturdays). Please do not email us to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment. If you are a no-show or fail to cancel in time, you’ll be assessed a $25 service charge.

Children: Because of stringent insurance guidelines, infants, children, relatives and others are not allowed in our treatment rooms. Unattended children may not wait in the reception area. To maintain a peaceful environment and be fair to all our clients, disruptive infants and children cannot be in the office during appointments, so please make childcare arrangements in advance. However, lack of childcare is not a valid reason to miss or cancel your appointment at the last minute.

Having a clear-cut Cancellation Policy allows us to keep our prices as low as possible, and also gives us sufficient time to contact another client who may be waiting for a time slot. Without enough advance cancellation notice, we’re unable to contact clients on our waiting list. Last-minute cancellations and “no shows” are unfair to those who really need an appointment.

If your treatment is (a) included with your Clinic Program, (b) part of a discounted Series-of-Six for the prepaid price of five, or (c) you’re using an Urban Skin rewards voucher, failure to cancel with adequate notice will void your treatment or voucher. The three treatments included with your Clinic Program are valid for 90 days. Series-of-Six treatments are valid for six months.

If you arrive late in the last hour of our workday, an hour-long facial may have to be shortened to a peel treatment. Clients who arrive late may have to wait. Late arrivals who choose not to wait will be assessed a $25 service charge. If you fail to show up or cancel without adequate notice a second time, you’ll be assessed a service charge and all future appointments must be prepaid in advance.

If you feel there’s a chance you’ll be unable to keep your appointment for any reason, please don’t

schedule it until you’re certain about your plans and childcare situation.

We welcome walk-ins and last-minute appointments if our schedule permits.
